DIY Subway Art ... {Minneapolis Style}

My husband and I both grew up in Minnesota.  We actually grew up about 6 streets from each other age 5 and up... but didn't mean until we were about 20 {enter awwww moment here}
Minnesota may be known for its accents and terrible winters by others, but for us Minnesotans... it's pretty fantastic up there.
{My husband just informed me that apparently was a very Minnesotan thing to say}

I made this subway art last night using my Cricut.  There's a million different styles of Subway Art out there... but I knew I wanted to try my own DIY style.
I used a flat canvas board so I have the option of standing it on its own or putting it in a frame as I did.
I'm ecstatic with the results! So excited even that last night I couldn't wait until better natural lighting to post a picture up on Facebook to show off my new DIY project.
And comments show that many other MNsotans are loving it too!
{happy dance}

I've already started Version 2 of it, which will combine even more patience and time... and paint.

This was definitely not a project for those that have little to zero patience.  Even I got a little antsy with all the weeding {technical term we DIYers and Cricuters use} ... but mostly just antsy because I wanted to see it completed!
Please let me know what you think!! This was one of my favorite projects I've made with my Cricut so far and I'm very excited to keep the projects coming

Just from the Facebook picture I posted I got requests from people wanting to purchase one from me which makes me do about a MILLION happy dances!
If you're interested in one of these then click on the link below to send me an email letting me know and I'd love to discuss further.
