Living Room Pallet Frame

One of the rooms I’ve toured so far in my house has been my living room.  I grew tired of the canvas art above the couch quite quickly, as it’s only been there for less than a year.  I brain stormed several ideas what I wanted to put above the couch.. everything from an oversized industrial style clock to a gallery wall.

After I started creating a couple signs {a new business adventure I’m embarking} and my love of working with reclaimed wood an idea started to grow in my head.  I have had a piece of fence panel in my garage for a couple months now and I always had the initial idea of making it into a sign with a painted quote.  However, I had a new idea for it and I am so so so happy with my new art for our living room!

I’m still debating about redoing the back piece the pictures sit on and making them larger, but I also like the subtle border they create about the picture.
I’m so happy this is what I ultimately decided to make, I think it fits perfectly in our living room.
