Baby PB&J update: 18 Weeks

It's a little late into the pregnancy to just be starting the bump pics, but my "bump" has been pretty small so there wasn't much to watch change.
Finally at 18 weeks I feel like I have a little something to "show off".
I won't do these every week since well, I know a lot of you come here for DIY projects (then again what's more DIY then raising a baby hah!).

But here's the first baby bump pic kick off with a little questionnaire update:

Sorry for the dark picture... was storming out :(

This week, Baby is the size of a: Red Pepper
How far along? 18 weeks
Due date: February 4th, 2013
Total weight gain/loss: 12 pounds gained EEEKS I'm gaining weight a little too fast!
Maternity clothes? I've bought 2 pairs of maternity jeans that just came in the other day... my normal jeans don't fit anymore so forced to wear these beauties.  Still normal shirts mostly, however almost all my Tshirts are too small already :(
Sleep:  Whole pregnancy I've been going to bed really early, typically try to be in bed by 930pm.  I sleep pretty hard, with lots of vivid weird dreams... and usually 2-3 potty breaks every night.
Best moment this week: Finally being open to eat a little more normal food, had grilled veggies and potatoes last night for dinner.  It's been a rough pregnancy with nausea.
Movement: Nope... still waiting.
Food cravings: I've really been loving Root Beer Floats this pregnancy, yummm
Symptoms: Just the daily nausea, I've been on Zofran since Week 6, and still needing to take the two pills on schedule every 8 hours a day.
Gender: I really think it's a girl.... Billy still thinks it's a boy.
Labor Signs: Nope.
Belly Button in or out? Inny still
Feeling toward Pregnancy: Debby downer.  I'm tired of feeling so out of my element, feeling sick and now with weight gain I have really been feeling down.
What I miss:Wine and enjoying my coffee.  I've had an intolerance to coffee the whole time so far, but just recently started "forcing" myself to drink iced coffee instead of the red bull.  I can't function without caffeine so I've had my allotted 200 to 300 mgs just about every day.
What I am looking forward to: Finding out the gender next week!
Milestones: Eating a little more "normal" food.

Next Wednesday we have our 19 week ultrasound and we'll find out the gender... we're doing some kind of gender reveal that night with a photographer.  Still haven't completely decided what we're going to do for it reveal... but still brainstorming.
Any ideas?!

  1. congrats! it could be fun to make confetti poppers full of pink or blue confetti! pop them at each other and be showered in the color for a picture!

    1. Awww that is super cute!!!! We're wanting it to be a surprise even for us not just for the announcement so we could make both colors, and let the photographer know which are which and then have her hand us them so we'd be surprised by the confetti color.

      Love that!

  2. You are so tiny and adorable!!! Hopefully things turn around soon and you start feeling more like yourself.

    1. Awww thanks Andrea!! I hope so too hahaha ;)

  3. congrats! cute baby bump!! I love your chalkboard fun!

    1. Thankssss! It's so hard finding things to put haha :)

  4. Adorable! I bet the little red pepper is a girl :)

  5. I love the idea of big cardboard boxes with helium balloons, then opening it and catching your expression on camera. What a stinking fun idea!!!

  6. A good idea is to fill a box with either blue or pink balloons, mark on the outside of the box boy or girl ?, then open the box and reveal the color !!, you look awesome !

  7. Oh honey you look so cute. Don't be down on yourself. You are doing the most beautiful thing a woman can do.

    1. What a positive way of thinking, sometimes it's easy to get so wrapped up in my own mind it's nice to have outside voices - like you :)

Love hearing back from my readers, you make my day! Thanks, Pamela of PBJstories
