Coral Themed Baby Girl Nursery Mood Board

Last week I shared our Baby Boy Nursery board and today I’m sharing our Baby Girl Nursery Board.

You can see my Pinterest board for “My Pretend Girl Nursery” here where you can find all these items, plus lots others!

PBJstories Girl Nursery Mood Board

I am WAY more excited about the idea of decorating a girl nursery. Probably because I’ve been decorating my son’s room for the last four years, a girl’s room would be a fun change of pace.

I knew right away I didn’t want to do traditional pinks or baby pinks.  I am leaning way more towards corals and peach colors, mixed with creams and some rustic appeal.  I REALLY want to get a rocker like the one in the picture, I think it’s seriously to die for!  And I really want another accent piece of furniture like that armoire.  I’ve been searching Craigslist for the last month and haven’t been able to find one yet. I’ll keep searching though!

I think I want to add a little more rustic appeal to her room too, like am old barn door as an accent piece too.

What do you think? Do you like the idea of corals and peach colors instead of the traditional baby pinks?

I cannot WAIT to find out to start decorating Smile

  1. Oh wow I love this! Coral & peach are great colors & would look lovely in a girl nursery!

  2. Oh I love your girl mood board! I can't wait to find out what you are having!!!

  3. It is precious!! I love the coral and peach instead of baby pink. So much more fresh and I love that it's something she could grow with. Very pretty!

  4. Coral for sure! Anything you choose will look beautiful!

  5. I'm so excited for you! Love the color scheme and of course I'm a little partial to tHe barn door! :p

  6. I love coral! I'm not a baby pink person either, and if we ever have a girl then I'd probably go for coral too. Love this. Congrats on baby girl!
