Week 19:
We had our week 19 ultrasound this past Wednesday morning where we found out we have a healthy baby who has 10 toes, and 10 fingers and looked to be growing right on schedule. -- Happy Happy News!
The next exciting news – the gender! Well we had to be patient as the technician tucked away our little baby’s gender as a secret into an envelope.
We planned to have the gender be a surprise to us for the big announcement and we scheduled a photo shoot with Shine with Jennifer Leigh (a local amazing photographer). We wanted the photo shoot to capture us finding out the big news – but also have the pictures be the big reveal to all our family and friends!
So we are FINALLY VERY VERY EAGER to announce the big news!!!! Have fun taking a look at all our pictures from our baby gender reveal! We had a blast doing this photo shoot and was well worth the mess

As I was searching for a fun way to announce our big news and find out the surprise for ourselves a friend at work suggested using the colored powder she’d seen from the Color Me Rad races, and a few other engagement sessions. I instantly LOVED the idea! I hadn’t ever seen it done as a gender reveal and loved how fun it would be for our whole family.
I was kinda always hoping for a girl, and had a feeling it was… my husband thought from day one it was a boy.. and Jackson has said it was a baby sister the entire time except this past week, he started guessing baby brother. Turns out a mother’s intuition is right
The weather was perfect, the news was perfect, and it was the perfect way to find out!
Now it’s time to plan that nursery and do some shopping!!
Yay for a sweet baby girl!!!!!!! That was my guess ;) Congrats to you and your sweet little family :)
