The MUST HAVE DIY Tool for your Garage–and the chance to win one!

I’m often asked what I think my favorite tool is… I usually think of one of my saw’s because they’re a big intimidating piece that I love I know how to use.  But truth be told – my drill is my GO-TO-TOOL.  I use it in almost every single project I do around the house.

I flipped through a few pages of my blog to put together a quick list of my favorite DIY projects that I used a drill during and I realized honestly, 99% of projects I’ve used a drill.

A year ago I upgraded my 12v drill kit up to the 18v kit and I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEE the amped up power!

Honestly, a drill is one of the most useful tools to have on hand.
Turns out, Ryobi agrees with me.  So we’ve teamed up and they’re giving away a
Ryobi ONE+ 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Drill and Impact Driver Combo Kit!!!
Yup. I’m pumped!!!

  28. I am moving this weekend and already have TONS of projects planned. I am moving from a small apartment to a big house with a shop just for me!!! I am oh so excited to have more than just a 5x7 balcony space to work in. The first project I would tackle will be building a new DVD shelf. I bought some little Ikea DVD wall shelves that only hold about 40, and my collection is much bigger than the 4 shelves can hold. So I'm building my own storage. I am super excited!

  29. I have a chair in my bedroom that the arms are loose. I'd need to remove them, fill in the holes with wood putty, then replace the screws. But, it's going to be a hassle and some new power would be handy!
